Truly a page turning, thrill a minute story that keeps you guessing until the end.
Nancy Bush creates a world filled with interesting and complex characters that draw you into their world immediately. I couldn’t help but love Sam Ford, the main character. He’s smart, determined, and even though he’s been estranged from his brother, he’s doing everything in his power to find the killer. Plus, there’s Jules. Sam’s one time love and sister-in-law. The story is layered, and keeps you guessing and just when you think you’ve got it all figured out... Well, you’ll have to read Dangerous Behavior to find out.

I’ve been a reader since I was three years old. Books are my happy place. Seriously. I could be anywhere and if you stick a book in my hands, I’m a happy girl. A world without books, without stories, is a scary place to me…my post-apocalyptic nightmare.
Some of my writer pals have confessed that they rarely have the time to read and they miss the joy reading brings. Not me, I make time every night, even if it’s only thirty minutes to read. And there’s nothing as exciting as a finding a new, favorite author. But, it’s hard in the digital era. Man, I miss the days of going to the bookstore, strolling down aisle after aisle, letting my fingers glide over the spines until I hit “that title.” The one that makes me go, hmm. Nowadays I rely mostly on friends for recommendations. Rarely do they steer me wrong. So, I thought I’d share my impressions of books I’ve read here. I’ve no idea if anyone will read this or not—and that’s okay, too. But maybe someone will and they’ll find a new, favorite author. Also, I’m going to be totally upfront and say, if I don’t like a book, I’m not going to share. Reading is subjective. There are lots of reasons why I might not connect with a story, but it might be exactly why someone else does. Also, I was taught a long time ago, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I’m going to kick off this blog with, WILD CARD UNDERCOVER, book one in the Love on the Line series by debut author, Kari Lemor. This was a fun, sexy read, but it wasn’t all sex, far from it. Meg’s situation and story touched my heart, and her spunk made me smile. Knowing what could happen to her, or would have it our hero hadn’t come along, made me wish she had less spunk and morals because I was worried about her from the start to the end. Ms. Lemor kept the page turning as this book was filled with chemistry, scary moments and a hero to make you swoon over. Let’s just say, every woman should have a man like Chris Martin in her life Excellent debut and I look forward to reading the next story from Kari Lemor. |
